I do not see an error message in your email. One relevant question is how did you install MonetDB in those systems? Did you compile it yourself, or did you use the provided binaries? Also, is Python 2 and its runtime libraries installed in both systems? Python 2 is EOL, and a number of distributions do not have it installed by default anymore. On Fedora for instance I need the package `python2-libs` which gets installed automatically when python 2 is installed.
