another question. we want to use copy into table to load txt file into monetdb. if the txt file contains chinese character, we can't load it in.
we try to use squirrel to copy a table out to a txt file, if contains chinese character, the txt is utf8. we can copy this txt file into monetdb.
but if we use a notepad to build a new txt file, and save as to utf8 . load will be fail.
What's the problem? how can we build a utf8 txt file that has chinese characters can load it into monetdb?

i modify the M5server.bat like this:

when we use jdbc or odbc to access a remote monetdb database. we try to use
jdbc:monetdb://dvs001:5000/demo. or change the odbc host to an ip address: 192.168.1.100. we can't connect to the database. only we use localhost can we connect to the database.
