I see --- and other distributions (e.g., Fedora Core 5 (or 6 final release
available within a week from now)) don't support your HW either?

looks fine to me --- unless __STRICT_ANSI__ and/or __USE_XOPEN2K are "oddly"
I'm afraid, without having (access to) such a system myself, I'm out of
wisdom --- sorry ...
