Hi,
Sometimes when memory-heavy operations on MonetDB finish (I run them through Mapi), memory that is used by the MonetDB process isn't freed. Is there a Mapi command I can use too make Monet free up memory? What I do now is restart the process, but I am hoping to be able to avoid that.
Thanks.

Tables loaded retain in (virtual) memory until end of session. There is no explicit control over the memory use.

Thanks.
