[MonetDB-users] "bpm_storage.h" missing when trying to install "sql" module
Hi, I have sucessfully installed the following modules of MonetDB
monetdb version 1.21.0 monetdb-clients version 1.21.0 monetdb4 version 4.21.0
When I continue to install "sql" module, the "make" complains missing file "bpm_storage.h". The platform is Solaris10/SPARC.
Anyone here has a hint what has gone wrong? Thank you so much for your attention.

Hi Xiang,
this is most probably a bug in our code that does not seem to properly allow to compile sql with MonetDB4 (only).
However, in particular if you are interested in using MonetDB/SQL, we strongly recommend to use the new MonetDB5 (Version 5.3.0) back-end instead of the (old) MonetDB4 back-end. With MonetDB5, compilation of sql should work fine. Please let us know, in case it unexpectedly does not.
Kind regards, Stefan
