How to install the MonetDB as a Windows Service
Hi,
is there any way to install the MonetDB as a Windows Service?
Thanks!
Regards, Fadila Mumbasic
Hi Fadila,
MonetDB will not configure itself as a Windows service upon installation, but you can set it up. The MonetDB executable, or a .bat file that starts an mserver5 process for a particular database can be used to create a service. From command line run: sc create MonetDB binPath= "<full path to executable file>"
Check this StackOvewflow question for more information [1]. You can also use the Services GUI for setting it up.
Best regards, Dimitar
