odbc driver 11.17.17 (64-bit) memory allocation error on Windows Server 2012
Upon some further reflection, the Stata error message still suggest the error happened within MonetDB's ODBC driver. Anybody else using MonetDB with ODBC on Windows? What shall I check?

And one more note, sorry. I did notice that the monetdb.org downloads page instructs us to have both the 32-bit and the 64-bit drivers installed on 64-bit Windows. I overlooked this before, but it did not fix the problem. The SO post has been edited with this information.
