    I have read some scientific papers about MonetDB. I am very interested in dababase cracking, which is an amazing adaptive index for column oriented database. Now, i want to  test some ideas  about database cracking. However, the project  is too large so that i cann't find the implement about database cracking. please forgive my laziness and poor programming skills. any one can tell me  which files is about database cracking implement ? thanks.

Hi Andy,

other than scientific papers, the MonetDB website and the code itself, there
is no further documentation.
For concrete and specific questions, please use the developers (or users)
mailing list.

Beware, though, that changing MonetDB storage (plain C arrays), requires
also changing the code of every operator that handles data.
